The Littel family loves to entertain, but their backyard simply couldn’t keep up with their lifestyle. With an old, outdated pool, constant drainage issues, and unusable deck space, they often found themselves keeping the curtains closed instead of enjoying their yard. Every rainfall left the patio flooded with water and mud, and the patchy, diseased grass only added to the frustration. Inside, their home didn’t have enough space to host large gatherings, and with adult children and friends frequently visiting, they needed a true outdoor extension of their living space.

We completely transformed their backyard into a warm, inviting hub for family and guests. The design centered around an expansive outdoor kitchen, complete with a full cooking station and a large island with bar seating; perfect for both the homeowner’s passion for cooking and for entertaining groups. A custom fireplace added ambiance and functionality, while the decking around the pool was expanded and paired with new patio areas for lounge chairs and gatherings. Behind the scenes, over 50 yards of material were removed to solve major drainage and grading issues, ensuring the space remains dry and usable year-round. The result is a modern, functional, and beautiful outdoor retreat that finally matches the Littels’ love for entertaining.
